Our Mission

The InYTech team is on a mission to close the technological gap in indigenous communities, and bring this issue to the attention of the general public. We aim to empower indigneous youth, and encourage them to pursue careers in STEM fields with an emphasis on tech. The InYTech team is dedicated to overcoming these disparities, and allowing for equality to prevail. We value equal opportunities and a world where no one is limited by technology, or identity.

Who are We?

We are the InYTech team, a group dedicated to making a difference in a world of injustices. The team feels it is unjust that indigenous youth and communities have to fight a million times harder to get equal opportunities. The team wants to lend a helping hand, and help amplify their voices.

The InYTech team was particularly interested in the technological gap that indigenous  communities face. With 250,000+ indigneous youth without access to technology, and 75% of communities with less internet access than the national standard. These major discrepancies coupled with the frequent discrimination and prejudice faced by Indigenous youth make the tools provided by InTech imperative. We stand on the pillars of equity, accessibility and opportunity to create change within our communities. Ultimately, we believe that an essential aspect of reconciliation is creating opportunities, mitigating the damaging consequences of the pass.
